Mini-Split Installations

Ductless heating and cooling for rooms the central system can't reach, installed in homes across Loveland, Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

Some rooms never get enough from the central system. A finished attic, a bonus room over the garage, a sunroom or an addition can stay too hot or too cold, and some older homes have no ductwork at all. Turning the main thermostat up or down to fix one room wastes energy and still leaves that room uncomfortable. A ductless mini-split puts heating and cooling right in that space. A mini-split has an outdoor unit connected to one or more indoor heads by a small line set that runs through the wall, so there's no ductwork to build. We start with an installation estimate. We look at the room's size, its sun exposure and where the heads and outdoor unit can go, then give you an upfront quote with your options. On install day we mount the indoor head, set the outdoor unit, and run the line set and wiring. Before we leave, we test the system in both heating and cooling.

Common questions

Do I need ductwork for a mini-split?

No. The indoor head connects to the outdoor unit through a small line set that runs through the wall. That makes mini-splits a good fit for additions, attics and older homes without ducts.

Can one outdoor unit serve more than one room?

Yes. Multi-zone systems connect several indoor heads to one outdoor unit, and each room gets its own temperature control. We'll tell you which setup makes sense once we see the space.

Is financing available for a mini-split installation?
